Looking at the the N3 or N4 nano's to power my 3 10"s
« on: February 01, 2013, 07:45:02 PM »
My memphis audio 16-mcd1000 of 8 years has been giving me problems, so I want to replace it. I have it on 2 kicker comp vr 10" subs and a memphis audio M class 10" sub. I think the subs can handle around 350 rms each. The memphis amp is wired @ 1ohm and makes 1100 watts. Looking at replacing it with the massive audio N3 nano block or N4 nano block. Which should i go with? If I went with the N4 would it be to much power or could I just turn the gain down on it? I may want to replace subs in the future that can handle more power, but for now will use subs I got. Would I be better off with the N3? My subs sounded really good with the memphis and switching to the N3 or N4 I am hoping they will hit just as hard or harder.

Got the n4 and installed it and man does my subs hit hard and sound good with it. I only have my gain turned up about a 1/8 turn. Now just waiting on massive to swap out the DBR remote for a NBR remote gain.
