Guys what is a good box size to start with for a DMX 15. I will be using one D5000.1 for power and I have up to 5.5cuft to work with. The car ( my Acura cl ) peaks at 44 hz.And port numbers will help but not a big deal.Thank for any help.

That's plenty of room for 1-DMX15. I will work out the dimensions and port size. What dimensions do you have to work with, max for Length, Height, Width?

This is for burps (tones) or music?
For tones, 3.5cubes with 50in^2 vent area tuned around 45Hz
for music....3 cubes with 40in^2 vent area tuned at 35Hz
Apply 1500-2K for 30 seconds and have a great time!

O.K. just build a 4.73 to see how well it would fit. That is before bracing, sub,and port.

Not working? Sounds like not enough port area. (2) 4" ports is only life 24in^2. Need to double that for SPL. Will have to play with the length to get it right (to find the hgest score).
Keep one thing in mind.........SPL vehicles usually sound bad due to high tuning. This means you need 2 enclosures and 2 subs.lol........GOTTA LOVE IT!
Enclosure looks good BTW.

I missed on the ports and the x-over on the amp. The port calcuator said the box is tuned to 20hz, so I need to cut the ports down 5" each to get it tuned at 44hz.What's the break-in for the sub and can it take two D5000.1s.Also my series/parallel wiring came to 1.4ohm before I put the sub in the box.
