New build.
« on: April 02, 2009, 12:15:28 PM »
Well we're about to become Massive Audio dealers shortly and we figured we'd start with a big build.  We're putting in 8 QC-12's in a pac man (or clam shell) aqnd it's going into a 2001 ford focus ZTS.

Each front door is being fiberglassed and will have 3 6" mid bass drivers and 2 bullet tweeters.  All will be running on 16V with 10 turbo start batts and an excessive amperage high output alt, with powerbass XA4000D amps.

I'll post some pics of the before build tonight and some pics as the build moves along.  It'll all be built and come out for the first show on the 18th of April.  That's the next show at our shop.

keep'em coming..I'm pretty sure Chris will chime in shortly...My four 15 inch dmx's should be here saturday,  box and everything already built...going in the back of a hummer h2..subs fire up..port to the back tuned to 37 hertz powered by a DDz2. By the summer I plan on changing things a little. I want to wall off the h2 with 6 dmx 15's and two z2's...looking forward to your build man! and I plan on posting pics here and on your forum as well!

Four DMX-15's on a Z2 should rock that H2...and if you wall that baby off and put 6 of them on 2 Z2's, that baby will be pretty sick!

Definitely post on Southeast SPL...More people will be finding out about massive audio soon...and I think they're going to be surprised!

I still love that saying you came up with a few years back..."make it sound like it auto sound"

Oh and yeah I think Massive Audio will start becoming a lot more popular in the southeast...!  Finally, more than just one competitor running massive audio at our shows ;D

I'll let you know if we're going to make that Albany GA show.  I think we will seeing as we have a small car now and not the behemoth suburban  ;D ;D

Now, I gotta try and get Ben to run MASSIVE instead of Kicker. That will be a challange. I may even "loan" my CW's for useage.  That should be cool. (4) CW15's in a PT Cruizer!

Is that extra support on the cone? Interesting. Can't  wait to see and hear them in action!

I drove the van to work today. Have 4 guys interested in Massive Audio now. Gave out my last 4 books too. I gotta call and order more for more!

Yeah it's extra cone support.  We still have alot to do on the enclosure, but we're going to paint the sides and put some orange plexi inserts on the baffles...so all you're going to see is kevlar cones and orange mirror plexi.

AJ already started the doors, and each one will have (3) midbass drivers and (2) bullet tweeters.  About 800 watts just on the mids and highs.

This little "Hocus Focus" is going to quake...!!!  ;D
